Great Fitting Shoes

Sandals are very comfortable, and are great for wearing around the house, on the beach, or around the pool. As spring arrives every year, and we begin thinking about warmer months and the summer ahead, it’s a good time to start shopping for some new sandals. A good pair of sandals should feel good on your feet, and have enough sole and support to keep your feet from getting tired. Sandals can be a slip on, or attach with straps. New technology at CES

CES started today and one of the big announcements was the Fitbit flex band. It’s a cool looking band that looks like a fat colored rubber band that you wear all the time and then gives you some great stats at the end of the day. It tracks your steps, calories burned, distance ran/walked and tracks your sleep. You can wear the band everywhere including the shower.

It has a cool alarm feature that vibrates on your arm to wake you up. The band syncs via bluetooth to your smartphone.

There are also some new phones coming out that are expected to be announced like the new Samsung Galaxy S4. Of course the S4 is the successor to the S3 and the Galaxy Note 2. You can read more about the Galaxy S4 on this site.

New iPad mini Toy

I got a new iPad mini recently, and really like the smaller size. The regular iPad is really great, but it gets heavy if I hold it with one hand, and if I plan to read or do something for a long period of time, it does start to feel heavy and give me hand fatigue. So, I thought I’d check out the new iPad mini, which is a lot smaller and much lighter. It actually does make a difference when reading for a long period of time, or holding with one hand. It sounds silly since they are both so thin and lightweight, but there is a noticeable difference.

The mini is so thin though, that I had to get a case to protect it. I’m sure it’s relatively sturdy, but the thought of taking it places in a backpack or suitcase is just asking for it to break without a good case. I was looking around, and found a case, keyboard, stand combo that I ordered, and it’s perfect! It’s the new ZAGGkeys 7. It’s made specifically for the iPad mini so it’s small, thin, and perfect as a case. There’s a keyboard that’s great to type on, and the thing also works as a stand as well. What Media Player To Get?

Recently I was shopping for a digital streaming media player, and I wasn’t sure which one to get. Some of my family has the ROKU, which they all really like and seems to work well. However, a local store carried the RCA digital streaming media player, which looks good too. I’ve also seen the Apple TV, and know that if you have a Mac it seems to be the best option to integrate. However, I don’t have a Mac, and just wanted something easy to use. I found a nice review of them here, and ended up buying the ROKU device (the purple one). It seems to work well, and we’ve really enjoyed it.

It’s so simple to use, I think I’ll buy one for my grandma and see if she can watch some of her Netflix shows now. For some strange reason, she has a crush on Ashton Kutcher.

A Review of the Saucony Kinvara 2 Running Shoes

A primary concern of any runner is the comfortable fit of the running shoe. Runners have many considerations they must observe in choosing the right shoe. This involves support of the ankle and foot in relation to stride and distance for maximum resiliency and safety. Another concern is that a good running shoe should allow for insoles to fit comfortably inside. It appears that the Saucony Kinvara 2 Running Shoes fits the bill in answering these concerns and goes even further in the comfort, style, and price department.

Although there is one big concern with the Saucony running shoe which appears to be that the toe space is rather narrow. However, quick compensation has been found in wearing the shoes sock-less. Wearing the shoes sock-less has been found to be very comfortable. This is due to the soft inner lining that is padded and provides a secure fit. So there is no need to worry about the foot slipping and sliding around.

These running shoes come in both men and women’s sizes. They come in a variety of great colors including black, green, orange, pink, white, and yellow. And sizes range from a 6.5 through a 14. The prices are economical and affordable at around $90, however, can be purchased online ranging anywhere between $55 and $75.

The Saucony Kinvara 2 Running Shoe is excellent for runners who are training. Overall, it is well liked for its comfort and fit. It is durable, being pleasantly constructed with a breathable mesh upper; soft, yet firm heel cup, and the mid-sole is supportive. And the outer sole has great tread traction.

Issues with the Saucony running shoe consists of feeling that the mesh upper will have pronounced wear and tear in a short time due to expected tearing at the joints. A cheap fix would be to reinforce these areas with a sturdy material. Also, it is felt that the rubber sole around the mid-sides of the shoes is too thin, and could stand to be reinforced so that the shoe will last longer. And, the mid-sole could have a bit more flex comfort.

Soon the Saucony Kinvara 3 Running Shoe is going to be available. It is believed that the issues about the Saucony 2 shoe will be rectified in the Saucony 3 version. Either way, Saucony Kinvara makes a running shoe that is a delight and satisfaction to runners everywhere.
